Gardeniser Training

A European, ECVET accredited Gardeniser training programme that supports community garden and farm projects. The Gardeniser Pro course is divided into 3 modules and each module includes units with one or more learning outcomes. The course is designed to run alongside any demanding role and produce genuinely useful, personalised resources through the tasks set.

Practical Organic Gardening course (Level 2)

Practical Organic Gardening is a Level 2 course, designed by Sydenham Garden and accredited by the Open College Network (OCN). The 10-month course runs weekly on Thursdays, from 5th Feb – 11th Dec 2025. It is open to adult learners with some experience in gardening, who would like to develop their understanding of plants, soil and sustainable gardening techniques. Places will be prioritised for those living with a mental and/or physical health issue.

10-week Gardening Fundamentals evening course with EcoLocal

We have an exciting new gardening course at EcoLocal. Our RHS qualified and award-winning Horticultural tutor has developed a 10-week classroom-based evening course called ‘Gardening Fundamentals’ that takes you through the full range of gardening activities, from looking after and improving soil to pruning, propagation, design and keeping plants healthy. This new course will run on a Wednesday evening between 7 and 9pm for 10 consecutive weeks between 12th February and 16th April 2025.
