Harvest Mob

Capital Growth has launched Harvest Mob, a new volunteering project giving people the chance to get involved in one-off volunteering opportunities.

Capital Growth, London’s food growing network, has launched Harvest Mob, a new volunteering project giving people the chance to get involved in one-off volunteering opportunities at Capital Growth food-growing spaces.

Harvest Mob is for people who want to get their hands dirty at a variety of community food growing spaces in the capital. It’s also perfect for people who want to volunteer but for one reason or another can’t commit to ongoing volunteering opportunities.

By becoming a member of the Harvest Mob team, volunteers receive alerts about one-off volunteering opportunities at Capital Growth spaces. They can then pick the ones they want to do, depending on their availability and location. This is a great way of getting outdoors, learning new skills whilst being able to lend a hand at wonderful community food growing spaces across London; all without the need to commit to ongoing volunteering!

To register as a member of the Harvest Mob go to www.capitalgrowth.org/spaces/mob and complete the short form. If you’d like to view current Harvest Mob opportunities on the Capital Growth spaces map go to www.capitalgrowth.org/spaces and search for ‘Harvest Mob opportunities’.
